Minor Club Notes 20th April 2015

The parish of Killoe was plunged into darkness and sadness when we heard of the untimely passing of Terry McCormack on Friday evening last. Terry was a true gentleman and a huge supporter of Killoe underage football as we all know. Firstly, our deepest & sincere sympathies goes out to his wife Josephine, daughter Sinead, sons Sean and Padraig, sister Mary, brothers Tommy and Jimmy and all his extended family and friends.

Terry and his family have been diligent supporters & followers of the minor club over the years, his Sons Sean and Padraig are currently working with the Minor & U14 teams respectively, while Sinead has been involved with Scor over the years. Jimmy continues to work with the school boys & the youngest members of the club.

The minor club with heavy and fond hearts will be eternally grateful for the support, leadership & encouragement that Terry has always given to the youth of the parish.

May he rest in peace.

As a mark of respect to Terry all club activities over the weekend were called off with the gates of Emmet Park closed until after the funeral.
