There was great excitement today in Croke Park as our Longford ladies team were worthy winners of the All Ireland Junior final. Well done to our own 2 girls Ann-Marie and the Woman of the Match today Jacinta Brady. Girls it is a fantastic achievement for the county and clubs and we are so proud of all of you. Thank you to all the supporters who came up to Croke Park and into Longford Town to greet the girls as they came home with the cup! Well done to all today

Our minor team are out in the Minor Championship on Friday evening when they play Ballymahon/Forgney at 7:30 in Clonee. All support appreciated. Best of luck to the team and management on Friday.
Senior News
Our ladies team are out in the first round of the Leinster Championship against the Louth Champions Stabannon Parnells. Throw in is at 2:30pm in Clonee and all support is appreciated. Best of luck to Con, Eimear and the girls on Sunday.
Fundraising News
We are running a Horse Racing Fundraiser event in November. For this fundraiser to happen our Ladies Team and committee are going to be going from door to door selling tickets. The tickets will be €5 and we would appreciate all the support for this fundraiser.
