Division 2 League
Our Division 2 team were defeated by Mostrim in Round 11 of the league last Sunday afternoon in Clonee. In mixed weather conditions, the team trailed at half-time on a scoreline of 0-5 to 1-6. Despite a determined effort, Mostrim pulled away in the second half and secured the win. Full-time score: Killoe 0-9 to Mostrim 4-12. There is no fixture for the lads this weekend.
Division 3 League
Our Division 3 team secured a fantastic league win last Wednesday evening against St. Mary’s Granard. We pulled ahead with a strong first half, scoring 3 goals just before the break to lead 3-06 to 0-04. In the second half, we added 2 more goals, finishing the game with a final score of Killoe 5-17 to St. Mary’s 0-09.Next up is an away game against Colmcille on Wednesday evening at 8pm.
Upcoming Senior Championship Fixture
Our senior team will begin their Championship campaign on Friday, 19th July against St. Mary’s Granard. The game will take place at Fr. McGee Park, Colmcille, with a 7:00pm throw-in.
