The weekly Club Lotto Draw took place this evening. The Jackpot was €3000. Numbers drawn on the night were: 20, 29, 21, 23. There was no Jackpot winner this week.

Senior Football Championship
We booked our place in the Senior Football Championship semi-final with a fantastic quarter final victory over Mullinalaghta St. Columbas, winning by 8 points on a final score of 2-18 to 0-16. Trailing by 2 points at half time, we showed great character in the second half with two well-worked goals from Mark Hughes and Paddy Moran. Paddy Kiernan made a big impact off the bench, hitting two brilliant 2-pointers in the 55th minute, followed by another from James Moran to seal the win. Scorers on the day: Larry Moran (0-2), James Moran (0-3), Mickey Quinn (0-1), Eamon Keogh (0-2), Cian Farrelly (0-1), Gavin Farrelly (0-1), Paddy Moran (1-3), Mark Hughes (1-1), and Paddy Kiernan (0-4, two 2-pointers). The team lined out as follows: Micheal Hughes, Liam Hughes, Darren Moffett, Larry Moran, James Moran, Niall Farrelly, Ryan Moffett, Mickey Quinn, Ronan Keogh, Eamon Keogh, Cian Farrelly, Daniel Mimnagh, Gavin Farrelly, Paddy Moran, Mark Hughes. Subs used: Paddy Kiernan for Cian Farrelly, Conor Mulligan for Eamon Keogh, and Ronan McGoldrick for Larry Moran.
We now face Rathcline in the semi-final on Sunday 28th September at 2pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
Junior A Football Championship
Our Junior A team lost narrowly to Clonguish on Sunday last in the concluding group game at Allen Park, with the full-time score reading 1-4 to 0-9. We now play Carrickedmond in the semi-final of the Junior A Championship on Saturday 20th September at 6pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
Junior C Football Championship
Our Junior C game scheduled for Saturday night last was cancelled as Ballymahon conceded the match. We now play Young Grattans in the semi-final of the Junior C Championship on Sunday 21st September at 12pm in Dunbeggan.
Club Meeting
A club meeting will take place in the clubhouse in Clonee on Monday, 22nd September at 8:30pm. All members are welcome to attend.
Senior and junior Championship Tickets 2025
There are two ticket options available for the 2025 Adult Championships:
- Standard Match Ticket – €10 per game
- Weekly Pass – €20 (grants access to all championship games from Monday to Sunday in a given week)
Tickets are available for purchase online via www.longfordgaa.ie. Weekly and Championship Passes may also be obtained by contacting the Longford GAA Office at 043-3345219. Please note: All tickets must be purchased in advance – no cash will be accepted at the gates. We encourage all supporters to continue buying tickets online ahead of the fixtures.
