Senior League Round Four
We were narrowly beaten by Carrickedmond last Friday evening in a closely contested game, with the full-time score finishing 1-10 to 0-15. It was a strong effort from the lads, who battled hard throughout but just came up short in the end. The boys now have a well-earned break next weekend before returning to action.
Division Two League Round Four
Killoe Whites delivered a strong performance on Sunday morning, securing a hard-earned 2-point victory over Killashee in Round 4 of the Division 2 League. Leading by four points at half-time, the team showed great composure and determination throughout the second half, maintaining their advantage despite a spirited challenge from Killashee. A brilliant all-round display ensured they held on until the final whistle. Full-time score: Killoe Whites 2:19 – Killashee 2:17
County Under 20
We extend our sincere commiserations to our County Under 20 team and their management following their defeat in the Leinster Under 20 Semi Final last Sunday in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
While the result did not go their way, the commitment and pride shown by the players and management throughout the campaign has been a credit to themselves, their families, and the county. Representing your county at this level is a significant achievement, and the dedication displayed has not gone unnoticed.
We thank the team and management for the enjoyment and passion they brought to supporters over the course of the season, and we wish them every success in the future, both on and off the field.
