Senior League Round Nine
Our Division 1 team recorded an excellent victory in their final league game last Friday night against
Rathcline. A dominant performance saw Emmet Óg Killoe run out convincing winners on a scoreline of 3-
20 to 0-08. This result secures our place in the Leader Cup Semi-Final, where we will face Colmcille next
Friday evening in Colmcille. Throw-in is at 8.00pm, and we wish the team the very best of luck.
County Senior Team
Commiseration to our county senior team and management on their loss over Down in the Tailteann

Condolences
The Club was saddened to hear of the sad passing of a great Killoe Gael in PJ Quinn. PJ came to the club in the mid 1970s and he was a key part of the Intermediate team who over that period worked their way to the top of the Intermediate ranks in the county contesting the Championship finals of 1975,1976 and 1977 when they finally made the big breakthrough and achieved Senior status which the club has retained since. After his playing career PJ immersed himself in all aspects of club affairs including training the team and acting as Chairman of the club in 1985. He was recognised for his commitment to the club in 2007 when he was inducted into the clubs Hall of Fame. PJ was never too far away from the hearts of Killoe GAA people and the club extends its deepest sympathy to the Quinn family and PJs many friends.
