Condolences

The club was saddened to hear of the passing of James (Jim)McGoldrick, Dublin last weekend. James was a valued member of the Killoe team of the 50/60s having won  Leader Cups in 1959/61 and a Senior Championship in 1960 . James returned to Killoe from Dublin for many years to wear the white and green and he took great pride in watching Killoe win many titles over recent years and on many of those trips he was accompanied by his life long friend and former teammate Vincent Duignan. James had the distinction of winning a Leinster Senior Collegesmedal with Franciscan College Multyfarnham beating St Mel’s College in that final.

To his wife Frances and his daughter Ciara and son Ronan and the extended McGoldrick family we extend our deepest sympathy. May he rest in peace.

Longford Show

Congratulations to the Longford Agricultural Show and Gerry Hagan on a fantastic day last Sunday 7th July.
